A Peppercorn Refresh for a Highway 72N Home
See how Good Faith Painting Company renewed fading Hardie board siding, sealed cracked joints, and refinished this single-story Loudon home in Sherwin-Williams Peppercorn.
Restoring Color to a Faded Exterior
Rick Brewster’s exterior paint was approximately 20 years old. Fading was especially noticeable on the south and west sides, and he was ready for a new color.
The Hardie board butt joints had cracked, so preparation was central to the job. Noah’s crew pressure washed the exterior, scraped loose paint, sanded and primed the necessary areas, then resealed the joints with a Sherwin-Williams elastomeric caulk. They also filled nail holes, masked windows and fixtures, and protected the landscaping and furniture.
The team repainted the exterior in Sherwin-Williams Peppercorn SW 7674 using Duration paint. Satin and semi-gloss finishes were used across the specified surfaces, including the walls, trim, doors, windows, fascia, and soffits.
